How is user data protected?¶

RPay protects user data with security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and physical access controls to access data centers. This reduces the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. Additionally, access to user data is limited to employees, agents, contractors, and other carefully vetted third parties.

We only keep users’ personal data for the time needed to fulfill the specific purpose for which that data was collected. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the personal data, the purposes for which it has been collected, and whether that data can be obtained through other means.

If users wish to close their accounts, RPay may be required to retain some of the information they provided for several years.
